Ok so to continue...
Story 2: I get out of the tube and realize once again that my normal exit is blocked off and I am going to have to exit out of the same exit as the last time I got lost. But at least this time I am more aware of my surroundings and I know how to get to the office. So I start walking and I think to myself, there has to be a shortcut to get over to the office. So I precede to go down a side street thinking it would lead me to my office. Very bad idea. I should know by now, the streets are not logical. Getting around does not require common sense, it requires a built in gps. Anyway I think I walked around for a good 20 minutes and then I saw a street name I recognized (I remember it Strainer) so I walked down that and ended up where I needed to be. On a positive note, when getting lost I found a wonderful outdoor market :)
Chris and I are headed to a Belgium gastro-pub (basically a restaurant and a pub, like Karl Strauss or Stone etc) tonight with some new friends we have made from work.
